Whatever the occasion, your ceremony should feel like you.

  • Work with me on a wedding ceremony that actually feels like a reflection of your life and values. Make it a part of your day to remember and enjoy, not dread. Whether you want to include aspects of a faith tradition, invent a unique way to embody your personality, you want a no-nonsense approach, or to do something that’s just fun, I got you.

  • New members of the family are a big deal. If you want to celebrate the moment, or feel pressured to follow certain faith-based birthing rituals, let’s talk. There’s probably a way to do this that not only welcomes your new member, but also allows you to create an experience that feels aligned with your family and it’s values.

  • Change is the one thing that is inevitable. If you are experiencing a life transition you’d like to mark (ex: a move, a divorce, a milestone birthday, etc.), let’s come up with a ritual that helps you step in this new direction.

Crafting Meaningful Ceremonies

My goal is to help you dream then create a meaningful moment of pause to celebrate or remember.

The world is not designed for pausing to notice the important moments, but that’s exactly what a ceremony should do. Whether you are getting married, welcoming a child, or hoping to mark another moment in your life’s story, I think it’s important. I also think we should make it a reflection of your personality, values, and goals.

If you are feeling the weight of obligation (i.e. “we have to get married in my parents church” or “my in-laws expect a Catholic baptism”), or you just want someone who will really craft an experience that you can look forward to, let’s talk. Your values and beliefs are important!

Whatever you are hoping for from your experience, I believe we can make it happen. Let’s talk.

About The Interfaith Chaplain…

Hey there, I’m Devon.

I’m a mom, a wife, and a resident of Guilford, CT. I have a master’s degree in Religious Leadership for Social Change, a second master’s degree in Community Psychology, and in the fall of 2024 I will be ordained as an Interfaith Chaplain after completing my Chaplaincy Certificate through Starr King School for the Ministry. I am passionate about community, belief systems, psychoeducation, and rituals that connect our human experiences with our beliefs. I genuinely love ceremonies that light people up, so it would be my pleasure to help you design something that feels like you.
